You can configure the default settings to set which notifications are sent to customers, and whether they are sent directly from the Returns portal or through an email marketing integration for more advanced customization.

Setting Default Notification Sending

  1. Navigate to Settings > Emails > Content.
  2. Open the type of email you want to configure.
  3. For each notification, select whether you want to send it or not in the drop-down.
  4. If you have an integration connected, choose whether to send it via the Returns portal or via the integration.
  5. Click the save icon to save your changes.

Configuring Carrier Notifications

  1. Navigate to Settings > Emails > Content.
  2. Open the type of email you want to configure.
  3. For each notification, select whether you want to send it or not in the drop-down.
  4. If you have an integration connected, choose whether to send it via the Returns portal or via the integration.
  5. Click the save icon to save your changes.

Configuring Each Return Method’s Carrier Notifications

Carrier notifications can also be customized per return method.
  1. Navigate to Settings > Return Methods.
  2. Click EXPAND ALL.
  3. Click the pencil icon corresponding to the relevant return method.
  4. Expand the Advanced section.
  5. Select the phase during which to update customers on changes in their return shipment status:
    • None
    • On any update
    • Only when in-transit
    • Only when the shipment is received
  6. Click the save icon located at the top of the page to save your changes.
You can add your logo to customize emails sent to customers for a branded returns experience.
  1. Navigate to Settings > Emails > Look and Feel.
  2. Click UPLOAD IMAGE and select a file from your device.
  3. Click the save icon located at the top of the page to save your changes.
This logo appears both at the top of your Returns portal dashboard and in the emails sent to your customers.

Customizing Email Notification Colors

You can also customize the colors used in emails sent to your customers.
  1. Navigate to Settings > Emails > Look and Feel.
  2. Customize the colors for:
    • Text
    • Background
    • Link
      Click the color palette icon to change the color format (e.g., RGB, HSL, or HEX).
  3. Click the save icon located at the top of the page to save your changes.
You can always revert to the default colors.
